He(the Antichrist) will be a global leader and he will wage war with the Tribulation saints(not the church) and he will over power them.

Revelation 13:7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him over every tribe, people, language, and nation.
Daniel 7:21 I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and prevailing against them,
🕯Church Age Saints
Matthew 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
