Rudaw: ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi is set to visit Egypt on Monday to participate in a “mini-Arab summit” with regional leaders in an effort to agree on a unified stance on various international issues.
Leaders of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Bahrain are also expected to attend the summit to address several topics, including the Palestinian issue and regional security challenges, reported state media.
“Kadhimi will confirm to the mini-Arab summit the Iraqi government’s efforts to continue supporting dialogue between brothers in the region and Iraq’s keenness to continue the policy of balance in relations and security stability in the country,” a government source told the media outlet.
