Is salvation our choice or God’s?
Did you choose God or did He choose you?God chose me and I chose Him. It is like a marriage. The husband chooses his bride and his wife chooses him. Both free will and the sovereignty of God in the Bible exists
People tend to go to the extremes on both sides. People go so far in defending the sovereignty of God that they obliterate the free will of people. Some go so far in defending the free will of people and they erase the sovereignty of God.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but EVERYONE to come to repentance.
John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that EVERYONE who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live.”
Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’
Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live.”

This is very sobering as I have loved ones who knew the LORD but walked away and some who say they are saved but I am not sure anymore.
Everything that we are seeing in the world so clearly they do not see.
I love them but the LORD is showing me the chasm that separates us
I want to be with the LORD and be presented with great joy to the Father
Jesus is the author and finisher of my faith
I cannot save people but I can hold them up to the throne room of grace
The LORD is so compassionate; so loving; such a good good Father; full of grace and mercy but He is also Holy
I love the Psalms
Where does my help come from?
It comes from the LORD
For me this is reality but for my loved ones they do not see it
Chuck loves when I worship but he does not join in
He loves it when he listens to Amir but nothing is said afterwards
I visit with my sister but she takes the LORD’s name in vain but says she is a Christian
I left her with Pastor Barry Stagner’s devotional book (dancing with scars) but she is too busy to read it
Everyone wants to save me but Jesus already h
and he will never leave me nor forsake me
I love that Jesus cannot lie
He cannot and His ways are higher than ours
His thoughts as well
There is nothing He cannot do
I loved Pastor Jack Hibbs devotion b/c it confirmed what the precious Holy Spirit confirmed to me so long ago and just this Christmas
Nothing is impossible with God
Even if I did not love bible prophecy b/c it confirms the faithfulness of God
Or if I did not love history so much
I know abusive relationships
It is all about power and control a
There is no stopping this train

Where beloved Apostle Paul described the body of Christ

Prophecy will fade, tongues will cease but the love of God will remain
Also the word
God’s word is settled in Heaven
God settles the matter
Always!
Heaven and earth will pass away
but there is something about that name
